An honest tool for checking controllers.

PadSignal is an independent, browser-based controller diagnostic tool. It reads your controller through the browser's standard Gamepad API and shows what it receives: buttons, sticks, triggers, resting stick position and, where supported, vibration.

The goal is simple: when something feels off in a game, you should be able to find out in under a minute whether the controller is the cause, without installing anything.

What it does and doesn't do

It reports measurements, not verdicts. The browser sees what the operating system and driver pass along, so a result can be affected by cables, remapping software or browser differences. When the API can't test something (adaptive triggers, motion sensors, touchpad position), the site says so instead of faking it.

PadSignal is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Sony Interactive Entertainment, Microsoft, Nintendo or any controller manufacturer. Product names are used only to describe compatibility.
